FRANK MCGOWAN
PRODUCER/DIRECTOR and EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Frank McGowan is a BAFTA celebrated, globally recognised Scottish film and TV producer, director, editor, and executive producer, who is co-founder of BAD PONY MEDIA PRODUCTIONS.  With over 300+ hours of award-winning film and TV productions under his belt, he is set to make his Hollywood debut on horror feature film EVENING OF THE DEAD in 2025 and direct on projects including PEOPLE OF GLASGOW, NINETY EIGHT PERCENT and THEM for BRAW TV SCOTLAND.

Frank began his career aged 8 years old, picking up his Dad's best friend's camcorder following an accident at home that left him paralysed for two years. During his college years, he made his own home movies and short films - typically about the people and things he saw around him - with many friends, family and even pets featuring in starring roles. He made his directorial debut on the BBC aired "Looking After Mum" in 2008, while still a student of Creative Industry at CUMBERNAULD COLLEGEHis passions include classic TV shows, cinema history, music (he is drummer for Scottish rock band ERIC AND THE BUNNY BOILERS) and collecting scripts and film and TV memorabilia.

MICHELLE MARTIN
WRITER/PRODUCER, EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Michelle (M.J.) Martin is a multi-award-winning Scottish writer/producer, author and executive producer, who is co-founder of BAD PONY MEDIA PRODUCTIONS in GLASGOW alongside best-friend and fellow creative Frank McGowan. 


Her notable work for television includes the controversial NINETY EIGHT PERCENT series, set in the heart of gangland Glasgow - as well as award-winning short films including AVA, MY SECRET SMILE, and ELIZABETH starring MARY WATERSGrowing up reading the back of paperbacks sat on her Grandfathers' book-shelves at home, Michelle became fascinated with books and literature from an early age,  with some of her favourite authors including STEPHEN KING and VIRGINIA ANDREWS. Publishing her debut horror novel EVIL IS in 2018, it was followed up by sequel EVIL DOES in 2020 - part of a planned trilogy in "the evil series". The books are currently available in all major bookshops worldwide, published by OLYMPIA BOOKS LONDON.

SUSAN SUTTON
DIRECTOR/PRODUCER, ASSOCIATE PRODUCER

SUSAN is a celebrated Scottish/UK broadcaster/journalist, radio show host, media presenter and director/producerBorn near Doncaster, Yorkshire (delivered by her father in a remote cottage) Susan has lived all over the UK, and currently resides in Glasgow.

Focusing on the creation of content "by real people, for real people" - she has hosted her own successful weekly radio show on SUNNY G RADIO since 2018, and is set to host her own TV talk show - THE TALK, which will highlight issues such as homophobia, knife-crime, drug addiction, suicide, men's mental health and family bereavement. Also an award-winning actress in her own right, she has credits including AN AWKWARD LIFT, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? and FOUR FLOORS, she stars as "Suzanne Avery" in the new NETFLIX production THEM, currently being filmed in PRESTWICK and GLASGOW.

JOHN MCEACHRAN
DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY/ASSOCIATE PRODUCER

John  has been an integral part of the BAD PONY MEDIA PRODUCTIONS team as director-of-photography/director, lead camera and an associate and executive producer for more than eight years, his most notable credits including CLASSICALLY BRITISH (working with MARK ELLIE and produced in collaboration with PORTOBELLO DANCE SCHOOL in LONDON), ON THE SOFA WITH... and the award-winning horror short TOPHATS

His passions are "community, people and photography", and he is currently developing his own photography based show for BRAW TV SCOTLAND, as well as producing his first photography book titled PEOPLE OF GLASGOW.

John's work has also seen him take to the streets for his own FRAME ON PHOTOGRAPHY, where he has worked with both celebrities and local people to capture a true portrait of life and the moments that matter.

JADE LEIGH
ASSOCIATE PRODUCER/CREATOR/PRESENTER

Jade is a real creative talent and treasure, recently joining the senior production team as an associate producer and content collaborator. She is also a presenter, actress and events manager, with an impressive portfolio of work which stretches across the entire spectrum of the Scottish Creative Industry - both behind the scenes, and in front of the camera.

A former MISS GALAXY, she is a true media personality in her own right, with an impressive on-screen presence, her credits including CALL TO ARMS: ORACLE, CALL TO ARMS: THE DEADLY GAME and THEM . She is also set to be lead on-the-street presenter for BRAW TV SCOTLAND, and for live interactive roadshows and events across the UK on new feel-good magazine makeover show ALL DOLLED UP, produced by BAD PONY MEDIA PRODUCTIONS

ANNA MACIVER
ASSOCIATE PRODUCER/ASSISTANT DIRECTOR

ANNA is a rising star within the BAD PONY MEDIA PRODUCTIONS, working in script development across factual, drama and comedy. Her passions include storytelling and Scottish culture, heritage and history - and her aim is to help support new talent and those in the Scottish film and TV industry who may be under-represented - for instance, women and people from small rural communities.

RON GREEN
PROPS AND SPECIAL EFFECTS

RON GREEN is one of the most accomplished members of the BAD PONY MEDIA collective, with a career spanning over 30+ years across the UK film, TV and creative industry as a props-maker, mixed-media artiste and creator.


As a graduate of GLASGOW SCHOOL OF ART and GOLDSMITHS COLLEGE in LONDON, he has many influences from Renaissance to Art Nouveau, and working both nationally and internationally, uses his skills on everything from sculpture to immersive and 3D art to find the solution to almost any problem, creating truly unique practical set-pieces, including props and backdrops for film and live theatre - as well as complex miniatures, sleek sets, and even hand-crafted alien arms to burst from actors' chests on screen for television.


Ron has recently stepped out of his comfort zone and in front of the camera to share his knowledge and expertise with a new generation on television - with his own upcoming TV series recently being green-lit, and his career of work from 1976 to present day set to be showcased in a dedicated interactive exhibition in his hometown of Belfast in Northern Ireland.  Use the button below to email Ron, or connect with him via Facebook.


LEIGH HAGGAR - LEAD DESIGN CREATIVE:

LEIGH is the newest addition to the BAD PONY MEDIA PRODUCTION team, joining us via the WORK PLACEMENT SCHEME. Her work includes design and lead creative decisions on visuals for our current slate of projects and productions, including film and television, as well as community work and social media. Her knowledge and expertise make her a crucial part of the team.

WENDY ANDREW - PRODUCER/PRESENTER:

WENDY is an acclaimed, best-selling author, producer and presenter - stepping in front of the camera for NATURAL SCOTLAND, where she also serves as executive producer and producer. An advocate for animal welfare, human rights and mental health, she is also a successful businesswoman - owning and operating CROFTFOOT CANINES and THE SCOTTISH PET BEREAVEMENT COUNSELLING SERVICE.
